i've been reading and found that ppl have been saying about "boost spike" when having DP+test pipe? and found that an AP would solve this boost spike thing. what is it exactly?

This reminds me of a kid who posted on Corksports Facebook last week. Asked Corksport when their exhaust was gonna be available and I told him to quit bitching cause it was only 2 weeks until it shipped. I said he was lucky he didn't have to wait for fuel pump internals when they were on back order. I told him to read more before he blows a turbo or worse, to which he replied "do u really need fuel pump b4 everything' I laughed and said he didn't have a clue to which he replied to shut the Fuck up and mind my own business. I wonder if thus is him?
Scoobs likes this.

AP yes, RMM I dunno. I had a 1997 Dodge Neon (don't laugh too hard, it ran 14.1s all day long) which I had installed a high durometer FMM and then eventually a solid RMM (it's like a little link/strut on those cars). I'm hesitant to do these (yet) on the MS3 because of vibrations. Personal preference. I have not had the motor hit the firewall yet and I FFS often enough. Get this... On that Neon, after installing the front an rear motor mounts, I went to the track and, on radials, still got wheel hop and punched a 3" hole in the transmission case right next to where the mount casting on the tranny case is located. Granted, it was the cheap "Venture Gear" transmission that came with the car and the entire trans case was a pretty shitty looking cast aluminum, but the bottom line is under high torque SOMETHING HAS TO GIVE. Sorry for scaring everyone now. That wasn't the goal of my post. Oh and the dealer replaced the entire trans for free under warranty. Lol. I did stock out before going in and I also sat a box of the variety pack of donuts on the passenger seat with the words Enjoy on it lol.

Mods (in order of significance): Cobb AccessPort, Autotech CDFP upgrade (thanks Captain KR for your assisstance), Cobb SF SRI Intake, Ultimate Racing cat and resonator-less test pipe, Cobb Turbo Inlet Hose, Cobb Knob, Cobb 300g shifter weight

Tune: My own (based on the v210 and v231 Cobb OTS maps but ramped way up)

Street creds:
- Fastest known K04/93 MS3/driver with only an AP, CDFP upgrade, intake, and tune | 13.37@106.83mph on stock Dunlops (2.04 sec 60' time, full curb weight, 75*F ambient temp)
- Has gone an indicated 146mph on three occasions now.

Yes I will help you tune your K04/pump gas car; I have much less experience than the major players but I also charge you $0 and can turn you around quickly. 4 satisfied customers and counting...

that might be so on another car, but the stock rmm on our cars are poop. I switched mine to the jbr and it is amazing. I bought the 80 so the shaking is a little more noticable, but to me the car feels race car. DEF. the best "first mod" to be done.

You think it makes sense to just replace all 3 mounts? Is there a point where it makes more sense instead of early on when you are modding?

Good comeback, calling me a noob. Must not have noticed that I'm a Brownie too. The cool just keeps on coming.

eh, I know alot of people do it, but the rear is really the one that is weak. mazda does that so the car is more family friendly and daily driver-ish. replacing that should do you just fine. JBR all the way

Thanks man. I think that I will just replace them all when the time is right. I put the CS inserts in so far, and will keep them that way until I just replace them all. Probably pretty soon. lol
