As the title states, do you guys have a prefered site that is "one stop shopping" and has the best prices? or do you have to go to each individual item and purchase via multiple sources?

Mods to start out are going to be:

* Just picked up a set of Michelin Pilot Super Sport 235/40/18

1. Cobb accessport - Stage 2 (includes installing their cool air intake and a larger Turbo Inlet Hose).

2. Cobb downpipe.

3. Borla Exhaust.

4. Front mount intercooler (unknown which one at this point).

I do not wish to have frequent cell issues. Any thoughts? additions? drops? not recommended?

Thx. Ripper.

But OP deleted it and replaced with "Dickhead".

Get ahold of @eric@edgeautosport.com he can/will get you all the stuff you need. Or just go on edgeautosport.com and browse. Even If they don't have it, they can get it at very fair if not the best prices

You need fp internals on that list also. I also recommend edge as though!

Dizzy Turbo 07-19-2012 04:45 AM

I'd add fuel pump internals to the top of that list, they can be bought from edge as well

Read the stickies before you jump into stuff. James Barone racing has a bunch of goodies that can be bolted right on. Check them out, you'll love em

BPASPEED 07-19-2012 05:28 AM

Replace # 3 with fuel pump internals and a RMM from JBR or Donate and find those parts for sale on the VIP section.

Voltron 07-19-2012 05:36 AM

Wow. I'm really surprised nobody jumped in your ass for this thread. But being that Old School is one of my favorite movies, I'll pass on the flaming this morning.

Researching this site would have gotten you the answer youre looking for. First up, we support our local vendors on this site. @eric@edgeautosport is the man you need to get in touch with to get you all your shit. Then donate, get access to the vip section so that you can find used shit from other members if you wanna save a few bucks.

Oh and btw, your list is all types of fucked up. No internals, no rmm?

MS3G35 07-19-2012 07:10 AM

Ur list should say
1. research
2. research
3. research
4. talk to local Nator crew(correction on this, I don't believe we have any Nator chapters over the pond.
5. more research

Then you would understand why we are telling you to buy a Rear Motor Mount(RMM) and High Pressure Fuel Pump Internals(HPFP)

No issue changing one out if necessary. Here in Italy most all fuel stations are 95 octane.

Wow. And that's not me being impressed by the 95 octane.

Now I really know you didn't bother searching for anything here.

The link in my sig 2 on will help you out.

Cheeto 07-19-2012 12:53 PM

Don't take the "sh**" so personal, they do it to everyone it's their way of dropping the weak and the trolls. Yes you need HPFP internals when you add an AP this needs to go with it most of the time.

Raider 07-19-2012 12:59 PM

Yeah, this is not the cuddly and nurturing madas247, where they they focus on, well, nothing really. This is a serious, not fucking coddling the weak, search, read, and go fast forum.

CWP_MS3 07-19-2012 01:20 PM

This information isn't something that you necessarily need to search for. If you just spend time on the forums reading the daily posts, you'll get all the information you need.

I honestly don't understand how someone can make it 64 posts without knowing about HPFP internals. Did you read nothing and just make random posts that had nothing to do with the threads? HPFP internals has to be mentioned in every single thread on this forum.

Voltron 07-19-2012 01:58 PM

@Ripper

First up, if you bothered to look into the posts made on this forum, you would clearly see that if you do a dp, you NEED internals. 95 octane isnt going to do jack fucking shit for you without it. But hey, what the fuck do I know. I just randomly put parts on my car in the hopes it wont pop.

I wasn't trying to be a dick, but since you've decided to take the bitch route and groan me, I'm gonna go ahead and say yeah I know more than you. I read. That was my first post, in the first 3 minutes on this forum, when I didn't even own the car. Not my 60th post, dumbass. Keep diggin though.

And by my 60th post, it was pretty evident which mods are needed first, because I actually read shit on this forum. So yeah, you can go fuck yourself, sideways and in the ass, with a fire hydrant.

Fuck, I was even trying to be nice and tell you to add a RMM to your list.

You seem to be a bit misinformed about how octane ratings work. The 95 Oct you claim is really just the RON, here in the US we use the average of RON and MON. Its a different way of measuring but the actual octane of your fuel is pretty much the same as ours.

Cheeto 07-19-2012 02:09 PM

This is awesome!!!!

Hoyoman 07-19-2012 02:54 PM

Your list isn't absurd you just forgot hpfp make sure to put in before dp and add a rmm just so your engine won't fall out from ridiculous launches. Good luck

deadlandxtreme 07-19-2012 03:16 PM

Donating is the best mod you can make. Not so much on buying the parts in the VIP section but reading the stories of others making stupid mistakes and you being able to learn from them is probably your best option. :notworthy:

JBR 07-19-2012 07:47 PM

We haz some good shit you needz.

Let me know how I can answer any questions.

meltdown100 07-19-2012 08:28 PM

Ripper, believe it or not these guys are all trying to help you out. Since getting my new MS3 a couple of months ago I have probably spent 100 hours reading threads in here - and as a result I didn't really have to ask many newbie questions. You figure out real quick who knows their shit in here, and those who don't and spout bullshit get sorted out pretty quick. Opinions vary on certain things like what brand SRI to buy, but on the basic fundamentals that are necessary to keep your car healthy everybody is on the same page.

Me personally, I'm not even considering the 'fun' mods until I have an AP and the fuel pump internals upgraded. Then I'll start putting on the intake and exhaust parts. Here's why everyone is telling you to do it - once you start adding intake and exhaust parts and start eliminating the airflow restrictions the demand for fuel to keep the AFR correct will also increase. The stock pump often cannot support the necessary fuel pressure and you risk running lean and doing serious damage to your engine.

Think of the guys who have been here for a while, they get asked this stuff like everyday, and take the tough love with a grain of salt and don't get offended, since what they are telling you might have saved you from seriously fucking up your new car.

And Jamie BArone's stuff is top notch - I have his RMM, SSP and OCC - these are all safe things to put on before you get to the pump internals, btw.

See? Wasn't so hard eh? Now go take pics of hot Italian chicks. Welcome to msf.

Dumyz 07-20-2012 12:38 AM

In for some Italian titties.

To OP: edgeautosports fucking ROCKS! As plenty of others have been saying... Internals and a RMM should be considered some of your first mods (first being AP of course). And I personally don't think a FMIC should be on your list quite yet! Most certainly down the road, but maybe some suspension for those curves over there, or shifter items from SURE? Just my two cents! Check out SURE, edgeautosports and JBR for your parts though! Good luck Ferrari boi !!1!

Black Metal 07-20-2012 09:53 AM

@Ripper You specifically stated 95 octane, which is the equivalent to our 91. And fucking LOL at

Higher octane number, 98 compared to 95 of the petrol generally sold on the market. The high antiknock performance means that BluSuper burns more effectively, thus offering greater power.

The link you provided doesn't give a MON rating, there for without more info I still doubt that shit is any higher than say 94 octane by US standards. For the record Wiki is correct on this one and even lists your magic blu fuel as having a higher RON than you claimed.
