(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score It's been a while since I have logged on or been active in the forums. After having my 2012 Mazdaspeed for 4 years, its been quite the journey. Back in November, I sold the car for a reasonably good price. I wanted to say thank you to all of you who have done the work and research to build this platform and provide so much information to all of us. Now being in a new car scene and group, I realize what an advantage it was to be part of this forum with all of its insane and vast information on practically anything you can come up with. After selling my speed, I picked up a 2009 BMW 335i. I've heard the horror stories of these cars, and was aware of the problems they have, but luckily I took care of all the maintenance and the car came with a lot of new parts (Turbos, High pressure fuel pump, gaskets, etc.). In the ~3 months of owning the car, I thought I'd share what I have done to it and the power that came along with those mods. I put on: -Catless DP's -Muffler Delete -Secondary Cat Delete -Charge Pipe -BOV -7" VRSF FMIC -BMS Intake -Stage 2 E85 Certified Low pressure fuel pump -StopTech Rotors Controlling the tune I have the JB4 along with a MHD backend flash to control timing, which is currently running a "E85 Backend Flash." This is virtually the highest timing curve you'll get without getting a custom tune. So I headed to the dyno at EAS in Anaheim and made 450whp/460wtq (pictures to follow). These cars have a lot of potential and its crazy how much power they can make with bolt ons. I have a friend who has the same mods as me, but has an upgraded clutch along with inlets and custom tune who made 490whp/595wtq before running into the stock fueling limits, so that is my plans for the future as far as mods go. For anyone that cares, the car is hitting 19psi until tapering down to 18ish at redline currently on Map 5 with about 10.5-11 degrees of timing up top. As I do not have photos on my new computer, I will upload pics of car and dyno sheet off my phone as soon as possible. Thank you to all of you, and I hope the platform continues to grow
