Default Got around to my exhaust install

So I finally took my car to get the Greddy Exhaust and Corksport RP/TP put on.
I found out that my stock exhaust the muffler had leak with only 9,800 miles on the car. It had a decent sized exhaust leak on the weld of the actual muffler. Anyway we installed the Greddy and CS TP/RP and its quieter.. That's right its quieter than stock. The guys said they have never heard a car that quiet after installing an exhaust and TP. Because it was way quieter than the stock one even.

No drone as well. The guy was like is your car even running .

Im trying to adjust it now I have it even but the left side is up a little more than the other. IM looking at putting something in the bushings to lift it or to get urethane bushing maybe that's shorter

Lol I just noticed that... .. And yea its probably quieter now because it had an exhaust leak at the muffler before.. I kind of wish it was a little louder though.

Dude you must have had a leak the size of a basketball. Stock exhaust is super quiet. All I have is a straight 2.5" test pipe and resonator delete and mine sounds loud.

The resonator delete is why yours sounds so loud. Trust me the resonator is a key factor as well as not having cats. But the Greddy exhaust is just quiet. Also adding a different resonator on mine might make it louder

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dSU4oUVA3NY

Mine seems quieter than this one that's the exhaust I have. I might eventually end up removing the resonator or switching it with another

Getting under the car is one thing I rarely do.. everything else no big deal.
I had car pin me once in my garage against the wall. I was lucky some neighbors were coming by. I couldn't breath because it had pinned me so bad. The jackstand failed on one side and luckily I had the jack still on it too otherwise I would of been kaput. It saved me from the car going all the way over

Ever since then im wary about being under a car.. Ramps are an absolute necessity for me now. I got my TP and exhaust installed for 75 bucks.. So it was no big deal

I didn't even think about getting an RMM though till now.. Looking at which one to order.

CPE, Cobb, or Corksport.. I think I want a rubber one so I might go CPE the 60a durometer one

You should go with the James Barone Racing Chrome Molly RMM. It is hands down the best feeling one, and the vibes are absolutely minimal. I've had mine for about a year and it is amazing. If you do with a low duro one, you will regret it in the long run. Wheel hop sucks.

That's understandable. I have heard stories of jack stands failing and personally I always try using ramps whenever possible. Someone just posted up a thread about jack stands failing.
