(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail...nal&listType=1 Unfortunately this car was totaled 2 weeks ago when I pulled over to assist someone in a car accident and a 19 year old girl in her daddy's f250 decided it would be a good idea to park it in the back of my 6. Car was totaled and I am still unable to sleep comfortably with my neck but I degress.... The reason I am brought to this forum is to rejoice with you all about finally getting the car I've lusted after for 8 years now that I will be picking up next Saturday once I get my check from the insurance ![]() Any suggestions for necessary mods to improve drivability, power, efficiency, look for a new guy here? another quick question....how do I upload pics for my post or avatar? | Not Ranked : 0 score As far as power goes, before you get any other bolt-on parts, you should start with the COBB AccessPort and fuel pump internals. These are considered the starting point for all builds. You should also look at replacing the rear motor mount to better handle the increased power. | Not Ranked : 0 score Congrats on the car, and sorry for the loss of your 6. As previously mentioned...if you are thinking about posting a thread asking a question...DON'T. Search first. A LOT. If you're lazy and ask to be spoon-fed, your rectum is going to get pummeled. You'll find that this site is heavily focused on performance, and there are some very well-researched mod paths to take. If you are looking for teh lowz or other ricey stuff, be prepared for the ridicule. Thick skin is needed. That being said, this site is one of the closest knit, brother-got-yer-back site I've ever seen. Your first car mod should be VIP status here. This is my first forced induction vehicle and I knew squat about the car when I joined. In 6 months, I've learned an immense amount of information just from reading the guides here.
