Hello all on MSF
 

Hey everyone i just wanted to say hi to everyone i've been tracking for this fourm for some time now. Also been thinking about pulling the trigger on a speed3, however i was wondering how i would fit into this place. I've always like the speed3 over most other cars in its class, such as the wrx or cobalt SS and others. FYHN never going with that haha. ALso though i've only driven luxury cars. The cheapest car i drove was my last car which was a leased g37xs and i loved that car. Currently i'm driving a BMW 535xi and its lease ends up in about 3 years. Note that my parents lease these cars and just allow me to drive them.

With that said i have a few questions.

1. Would a be a good fit ocnsdiering i only drive luxury cars, I love my heated seats =p, minus that i don't think i need all the luxuries and would rather have a car that goes fast!

2. I hear that the MS3 clutch is a on off switch, this would be my first manual car, i know the concept of driving stick i've seen it done and even tried it out a bit, however i'm still fairl new to it.

3. the resduial on my 535xi ends up being around 38k which isnt that bad, i will talk that down of course.

4. The profession i'm in (business) a BMW would be a "useful" status symbol so i would like peoples takes on that as well.

5. Lastly I'm trying to keep the MS3 mostly stock only adding AP and HPFP and maybe a FMIC. With this knowledge i can only get roughly according to Cobb website around 9%hp gain and i think 18% torque. This vs the 535xi without doing anything and just tune i get a much better increase i think %30HP 38% torque.

Thoughts, suggestions as well as some flaming as this is my first post and it would only be natural, also because im a brownie =p

This is by far not a luxury car. We love this car because we have all got dirty/bleed/anal raped in the process of trying to be "fast".

So throw your "I only drive luxury cars" attitude out of the door and grow a pair.
