Help picking parts

I’m about to make my first bolt-on’s purchase for my genpu (and forum donation) but I’d like a little help with the decision. My plan is to buy:

-SRI
-TIP
-RMM
-SSP
-Solid Bushings

I’ve priced it out and it’s:
$600 on Sure’s site
$602 at StreetUnit (all Sure parts)
$481 CorkSport (SRI & TIP) and Sure (RMM, SSP, Bushings)
$464 CorkSport (SRI & TIP) and James Barone (RMM, SSP, Bushings)

I’ve spent a lot of time searching on this site trying to compare parts and figure out why I should pick one over the other but I can’t really find definitive info. All manufacturers seem to be reputable and it seems to boil down to personal preference. I haven’t seen any of the parts in person, but Sure’s stuff looks pretty top notch. That could just be because of the slick website, but is it worth ~$140 more than CS and JBR? If I go the CS & JBR route I could have a rear sway bar for another $50. Any constructive feedback is appreciated.

get the last one and buy other shit!
All manufactures listed supply good parts

Get fuel internals too while ur at it so you don't have to worry about it later down the road. KMD or Autotech make great fuel internals. Then after what u listed get the downpipe and midpipe and an AP and you'll be making some good power. Fmic's are also nice

The internals and AP are what I plan to do next. That and the rear sway bar, I hate the understeer this car has. By that point I'll be ready for tires too, I think I have about 5k left on the set that came with the car.

My ultimate goal is to have a good setup for a DD that occasionally auto crosses. I work for an engineering company and my bosses have some heat parked out in the lot, and they actually take them to the track. I'd like to surprise them.

all 3 manufactuers are good...your on the right track as far as mods as far as keeping it a DD, just make sure a tune is in the works as well somewhere in the near future.

The list you have is good. And your right it's all personal preference.
I love my CS stuff and JBR is the shit. I would go with the last option and get the RSB while you are at it. I also can't talk ill about my CP-E RMM but JBR makes good stuff too.
Both companies have great customer service.
Also check out edgeautosports.com tell JP chris sent you. He will hook you up.

Definitely go with the last option. I have the same setup and it is great. It helps that it is the least expensive choice as well!

Cool, just ordered from CS & JBR, now the impatient waiting and rushing home to check for a delivery begins.

Hey,

I'm quite happy with Corksport SRI + TIP, it is a nice deal and very nice parts. I bought a Sure RMM. Now have an AP and looking at HPFP. Edgeautosport has a decent deal on HPFP.

Cheers,

G

PS - donate!

donate and get most of those parts in the f/s section for a lot cheaper.

Picked up my JBR parts from the post office yesterday and the UPS man left my CS parts at my front door a little awhile ago. I'm clock-watching now, time is creeping by.

I got the SRI/TIP installed and the short throw shifter and they both made a huge fucking difference. It took me forever to get everything in but it's not the manufacturers fault. I didn't have the right tools and you needs damn gnome hands to move around in the engine bay. That SRI is loud, but i love it. The car feels quicker too, almost like it moves quicker with less effort. If anyone is considering it, do it!

Congrats on the new toys. Let me know if there's anything you need.

Thanks,

Tanks brodah! You have another person who'll vouch for your products. Next week I'll tackle the shifter bushings and RMM.
