the vac filter that mine came with split open where it is glued together after a few days use. that sucked. luckily i picked it up early (check underhood daily to se all is in order). chucked it and ran an adapter from the stock vac hose to a 4mm vac hose that fits tightly on the vac inlet on the ssqv.
my flange reused the stock gasket.
i had a recirc adapter on that i think may have caused it to leak in recirc mode.
didnt like the lag and stumbling and backfiring in VTA, or the lag in recirc so I stocked out.

might pop it back on when i get tuned later this year (if the stocker leaks).

I know this sounds expensive, but the CP-E recirc kit sounds much better. I have a full blown gasket on mine that works really well. It seems like what you had was a busted piece of shit

Stock BPV holds a good bit. @phate has a thread on how to modify it to hold more.

ANY of the aftermarket options work fine as well. I like my Forge V2 because it doesn't stand out in the engine bay and it has help up to 30 PSI on the K04 just fine. I associate the SSQV with rice because most people who buy it get it because they thought it sounded cool. This gay.
