Hoping someone could help with my noob exhaust question Hey all. I've searched high and low and cannot find the answer to my question. Recently I was given a used corksport catback for my pu. It just needs 1 flange gasket which I found at advance auto, as well as the donut gasket. The donut gasket is what I'm having trouble with, to connect it with the stock downpipe I'm unsure of what size I should be looking for. Any help would be appreciated. Also does not have hardware for the dp-mid pipe connection or midpipe-axleback portion. I'm curious if the stock hardware works or if I will need other stuff. Thanks ! Call corksport and ask them. That donut gasket is hard to find although the oem exhaust is 2.5". |
You can buy the donut gasket and all the hardware from CS. I did that a couple months ago. Only cost me $36 shipped if i remember correctly. Contact @CorkSport; he can help you out. Make sure you send him a glow in the dark hat for a tip. He loves it PS: Also ask around your local exhaust shop for the donut gasket. They might have them. EDIT: I also remember my friend had a CS catback with stock DP and TP. He had to use the OEM donut gasket to mate his stock TP to the catback. |
Unless it leaks you can reuse the stock donut gasket on your test pipe |
Good shit. Thanks for the help Sent from my LG-H820 using Tapatalk |
reuse the stock one, if it looks messed up just take it to a parts store and i'm sure they will match it up for you |

Went on pretty easily but rattles a little on the mid chassis brace. Wondering if I should try aftermarket hangers or bend it a little Sent from my LG-H820 using Tapatalk |
