Also leaving the key in the car when off is a no no. Dealer already had to reset one of my keys cause the tech left the fob in the car while it was in the drive and the car disabled it.

Cant believe you posted this article. It basically says you should not idle because green house emissions. If your retarded enough to think this was a good article, you should go buy a Prius. The MS3 puts out more black soot in one WOT than any amount of idling will do. "advises motorists to turn off their ignition if they're sitting stopped for more than 10 seconds. "Switch the car off at the curb and you'll be leaving money in your wallet and protecting the air in your community." | Not Ranked : 0 score Wait for idle to die down to 1000-900 rpm, then drive around shifting by 3k rpm for 5 mins or so... Once warm, do a 3/4 throttle before going wot... For some reason if I go WOT without any meaningful boost before hand I get epic knock on first run... But hit 15-16psi first, then WOT, and all good

| Not Ranked : 0 score I start my car 20 mins before leaving anywhere. Lock the car with the emergency key fob then walk away. You do know that if you go to a Mazda dealership and get personalization features turned on one of them is the ability to lock the car with the key fob with the engine on. I've been too lazy to go and do it but just a thought for you. Otherwise get a remote starter. Im sure when you warm up your car its done in a min or two.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I just downloaded the 2013 manual as well to see if there was any difference and it is exactly the same as the 2012 when it comes to personalization options. https://www.mymazda.com/MusaWeb/pdf/..._MAZDA3_OM.pdf The first option listed for advanced key is - The funciton to automatically lock doors when leaving the vehicle while carrying the key can be activated - it comes deactivated and you can activate it. This works only if the car is not running. Meaning, turn car off, close the door and walk away and it locks the doors. If the car is running, and you close the door and walk away, the car will beep at you to let you know it's still running and the smart key is not within range(fyi I have it activated on my tech package).
