How Much HP Can a MS3 Get Reasonably Get to?

I'm debating on cars right now. I really want a Genesis Coupe, but the new 2013's are impossible to come across. Another option that I love is a MS3, and its about 7-8k cheaper. How much HP and TQ can you get these cars up to without intense builds? I'm all for replacing or modifying the exhaust, engine components and ecu.

Is getting 350-375 HP out of these cars realistic? I don't know much with mechanics, so I don't want to be fixing this car all the time so dependability is huge.

MS3's are for a special select few of us, Mazda only pumps out about 3000 of these things a year if you want power get a fixed up supra or nsx ect. if your into tuners, otherwise i would suggest mustang camaro, challenger ect if u like muscle. speeds are for ppl who intent to track their car at some point, mazda has tuned these for race tracks like laguna seca.

If you're going to spend the 7-8K that you save from the Gencoupe, then you should have 450-500 hp with some money left over

Mswierse said it right. The MS3 is faster already then the gencoupes stock vs stock. If you have that 7-8k lying around, or available for the Hundyia, get the MS3 and mod the piss out of it. 7 grand into these cars is a lot. You'll have a lot of power. Reliability, well I'm still trying to figure that all out myself.
