It could be one of the couplers being loose and leaking under boost but a "howling" sound has me stumpled. Gotta love trying to solve a problem with no videos or logs lol... | |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Unfortunatly it wont let me upload the video here at work. I will attach it this evening. I found some driveshaft noise videos on youtube and it kinda sounds similar. However there's seems to happen at lower rpm as I dont really here mine untill 4300 rpm. Its definetly more noticible under higher engine load. Some people have described it as a whine. So basically im just trying to find out what would cause a whine/howl sound at higer RPMs. Some sort of engine harmonics are happening between 4 and 5k. I should just be hearing a sweet exhaust note from my car. Bludypoo likes this.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Was the car wrecked and repaired according to the vehicle history? Wheel bearing could be shot from a massive pothole or being curbed, etc. That kind of shit is awful to track down. Hopefully it's something simple like a prankster swapped their supercharger for your turbo.

Mazda called me and has said that they want to check it over. So possibly Friday I will be dropping it off with them. Waiting on an avalible loaner.
