It's amazing! I also have a e85 station next to my house. Was around 285/320 now around 315/350 which is pretty insane IMO. I would definetely recommend! Pulls like a freight train!

I see everyone complain about getting like 220 per tank. This is my second tank on the mix and first tank I got like 290 highway miles and about 25 highway pulls. This tank I drove 260 miles and still have 3 bars left. I get on in a few times a day too so I don't baby it too much.

I see about a 2-5 mpg decrease between my e85 and 93 tunes, it's not drastic but is noticeable.

I just took pics when I got home at 9:30 tonight and came on just now to write up a thread for general consumption. I'll include a link here when I'm done.

BTW, I'm impressed you guys picked up on how queer I am...usually you need to hear my fruity gay voice to figure that out.

What % is your mix?

The math says it takes 30% more E85 for stoic burn and then of course you're using more if you're combusting faster. So it would make sense that you'd lose ~20% fuel mileage with aggressive driving on a 30% mix and closer to ~35% on a 50/50 mix.

It's about 80¢/gal cheaper than 93 here. My train of thought is to toss a gallon or two in the tank when it gets hot here while staying tuned for 93 as a poor man's WMI - I don't want the inevitable wear on my car of pushing ~350tq. 4 months of 90+ degree temps and ballsack humidity are coming soon.

Spose I'll have to do some more corn reading now.

Hey GrFa and welcome to MSF, faggot!

If you thought the knob made a real difference, you need to pick up some stiffer bushings and a SSP from JBR or CS. Cheap and really easy to install. What's nice is that our platform can have the shifting mod placed right at the tranny with an adjustable plate, which is why it is so much cheaper than having to get a new arm with a different fulcrum point, like most cars do, to change the shift effort. Also, people have switched tranny oils to the ford stuff and noticed an improvement there as well.

Thanks for the warm welcome! I actually picked up some solid shifter bushings from a fellow member this evening, along with some RMM inserts. I literally walked to his house. The speed community is strong in my town apparently. I think I'll throw them both in tomorrow. Car is definitely going on the lift tomorrow to have the bubbled front tire replaced. I should also change the oil now that I just turned 2k miles. I haven't even owned it a month yet.

What do you think of the shift bushings?

I've got a set lingering.

The install took maybe 45 minutes with me being anal and going in and out of the house to get tools.

I let it idle and warm up while I reset all of my radio and nav settings and then took it for a spin...woohoo is this fun. I never thought I would get such a kick out of such a cheap and easy mod. Smiled for the entire drive with uncontrollable giggling at times. The spool and bpv noises are great. I drove around almost exclusively with the windows down for the day and thought it sounded about how I was expecting. Tonight I finally drove with the windows up and it sounds like there's a hole in the dashboard leading right into the engine compartment...it's nice. I would say if you have a Pu and haven't thrown one of these on you don't know what you're missing.

This is my second mod in addition to the the Torque Solutions delrin shift knob I found on amazon. $22 for a big nice teardrop shape knob. It's countersunk, lower than stock, and bigger than stock which is nice because I have huge hands. Its probably half the weight of the stock knob and I love the shift feel now. Feels like you can feel the gears engage and the gates better. I need to take a picture and make a post about it.

All and all I'm a happy camper and loving my now 3 week old speed. I have ~1600 miles on it now and was thinking I should really change the oil now too. Maybe tomorrow.
hey, just wonder do you have a "si....." sound when you push down the gas pedal? I got the sound after install the SFI...not sure if this is normal and happen to everyone or just me
