I Keep Finding Little Gems On This Car I just bought my '10 MS3 on Monday. First one I've driven actually. I drove it and it was fine, and has been fine. Really clean car with very low miles. So first we had the DSC unplugged issue. Figured that out and all is well. Flash forward to yesterday, I go out to debadge the car. Something catches my eye underneath so I get on the ground to take a closer look. Wait a minute, is that, a Flowmaster? Yes, yes it is. A fuckin' Flowmaster on a MS3. Surprisingly enough it's quiet enough that I thought it was a stock Mazdaspeed part. I have driven a MSP and just figured it was normal for the car to have a little rumble. Tips look like they could be stock, but a tad bigger and no double wall. I'll be replacing it eventually. Just thought it was funny. Cliffs: Texas |

4 Attachment(s) Here you go. No pics of the muffler itself, but pics of the car via the dealer group I bought it from. |
please tell us you have removed the dealer badge..... Car looks good. |
Thanks, and yeah the dealer badge and Mazdaspeed3 badge came off yesterday. |
Yeah, I'm gonna say those are not stock tips even without the double wall, the shape seems off and they stick out too far. Free goodies are always a welcome surprise. I got my '12 unseen because it was a dealer trade (dealer I bought from didn't have what I wanted so they got it from another dealer), and when it showed up I was pleasantly surprised to find the first dealer had tinted the windows and put on the locking lug nuts. And since the dealer I bought from didn't know they were gonna be on there, both were free for me. Bonus. |
