I put rings on my Knob
 

I put a couple of O-rings on the JBR knob, I'm still deciding if I like.

On the plus side you won't be able to cut yourself

Does it add any grip? Is grip even an issue with the coating on the knob?

I think that's awesome looking. Would you mind posting the size of the o-rings for us? Very innovative idea sir!

I have never had a problem with Jamie's know cutting or scratching me and love the knob but that does look pretty good! GJ

You could probably find red o-rings to match the shift pattern too.

heres what would drive me totally insane.... no way them fuckers arent gonna slide up and down just a milometer or two as u shift gears..which means they wont be parallel unless u adjust them every second....that alone would make me want to commit suicide...

and i wont even get into the week i have had

Yeah, nice shifter, but I'd have to stick that in a lathe to fix that.... It would drive me freaking nuts as well...

i would still superglue mine on. idk,.....the uncertainty of the o rings moving at any point makes me lose sleep at night.

That title was by design I almost went with cockrings on my knob, but you got the effect anyway.

damn, i was just sitting at a red light this morning when i thought 'fuck, some nice fat o rings would go nicely into these grooves'. ideas were ripe in the noosphere.

I like the knob concept but it needs more BLING like the stock knob IE polished/chrome trim. So if you could make these rings bling bling... hrmmm

otherwise I'm still staying stock...
