I put a couple of O-rings on the JBR knob, I'm still deciding if I like.

Rich-PMS 09-14-2011 06:02 AM

On the plus side you won't be able to cut yourself

maisonvi 09-14-2011 06:16 AM

Does it add any grip? Is grip even an issue with the coating on the knob?

JBR 09-14-2011 06:36 AM

I think that's awesome looking. Would you mind posting the size of the o-rings for us? Very innovative idea sir!

zatara 09-14-2011 06:42 AM

Demand a 1% cut on all deals Jamie makes with his new knobs!

That looks pretty good.

I actually kind of like it and might try it out... what size o-rings??

Only negative here is why the pic is sideways.

kritz 09-14-2011 07:21 AM

Thanks, it does add some grip and the o-ring size is 27.

Mikey 09-14-2011 07:25 AM

err cant see the pic?

ok kewl.. thought it was on my end since everyone else was seeing it lol.

I have never had a problem with Jamie's know cutting or scratching me and love the knob but that does look pretty good! GJ

maisonvi 09-14-2011 09:20 AM

You could probably find red o-rings to match the shift pattern too.

E.Tinker 09-14-2011 06:06 PM

Ribbed for added pleasure?

ARES28 09-14-2011 06:10 PM

Not the type of rings, or knobs that i was thinking...........Grip FTW.

kritz 09-14-2011 06:12 PM

Why yes that is correct sir!

Better dead than red.

rodrigo 09-14-2011 06:13 PM

i dont see the point. but....

heres what would drive me totally insane.... no way them fuckers arent gonna slide up and down just a milometer or two as u shift gears..which means they wont be parallel unless u adjust them every second....that alone would make me want to commit suicide...

and i wont even get into the week i have had

Yeah, nice shifter, but I'd have to stick that in a lathe to fix that.... It would drive me freaking nuts as well...

Edit: However after looking at the website it looks as though it IS grooved. So my bad.

rodrigo 09-14-2011 07:13 PM

oh is it? thats the only thing that saves it lol

JBR 09-14-2011 07:25 PM

The knob a has grooves the o-rings fit in to.

rodrigo 09-14-2011 07:26 PM

i would still superglue mine on. idk,.....the uncertainty of the o rings moving at any point makes me lose sleep at night.

but then again i know im not all there in the head

Are you one of those people who can't walk on the cracks in sidewalks?

Please see your nightmare below:

That title was by design I almost went with cockrings on my knob, but you got the effect anyway.

tddvrrn 09-14-2011 09:43 PM

damn, i was just sitting at a red light this morning when i thought 'fuck, some nice fat o rings would go nicely into these grooves'. ideas were ripe in the noosphere.

ChicagoMike 09-23-2011 10:32 AM

I like the knob concept but it needs more BLING like the stock knob IE polished/chrome trim. So if you could make these rings bling bling... hrmmm

otherwise I'm still staying stock...

Paul 09-23-2011 11:00 AM

Mines in the mail. Gonna put a double ring of thorns on mine.... do it up like Jeebus.

Rich-PMS 09-23-2011 11:09 AM

steve was generous enough to share some cockrings at the nator PA install.

defintely adds more grip
and they do NOT slide around

kritz 09-23-2011 11:34 AM
