I sure would like a shorter AP V3 cable For those who have you AP mounted to the left of the steering wheel...Ever thought about how nice it would be to have a cable just long enough to go from the AP and straight to the OBDII port? It would eliminate the need to dismantle the dash to route it through and up the A-pillar and, if you ever have to go in for warranty work, you can load the stock map and then remove any evidence of the existence of the AP. I wonder what challenges would be involved with shortening that cable. |
orrr you could coil it up in the pocket like i do with my long v2 cable... |

@Hemifreak; hides his in the door seal. Maybe he's got a pic so you don't put it in the wrong place and crush it. |
Don't have a pic but there's enough of a gap if you pull out the seal to push the excess up in there and not pinch/crush anything |
It's not too difficult to route in the dash. It takes about 10 minutes or so. And looks very clean IMO. |
I have mine ran to a jbr mount and you can only see maybe a foot of cable. The rest of it is tucked under the center console and wire tied to the mount. |
