Mazda City has a new Service Manager and GM. They have unbranded 1 local guy who was fucked by Duval. Voided transmission warranty because of BOV, said it made synchros shit. Yes, they did.

Mazda City has also helped many get VVT done when others denied, and even have a rate for it that is $400 less than I was raped for at Tom Bush.

Ed Morse Mazda in Lakeland. The one guy in the front is nice (working to get me a discount on parts) but overall I'm not happy at all.

If you ever have to go to a dealer again, go to the one in Tampa on Florida Ave, ask for Sean (Trinidadian who drives a red Gen1) tell him Andrew referred you to him. He installed a couple mods on my car! If I ever do something stupid, that's potentially expensive, I'm having my car brought there to get replaced under warranty without having to de-mod!

So an update. I had my car towed to Mazda of Wesley chapel because corksport convinced me I could and would save a lot of money. Just like some of you said as well lol I paid a restocking fee for them to release my car to the tow truck but will be putting a complaint against that dealer to corporate Mazda and hopefully will be reimbursed. So I'm at Mazda of Wesley chapel and they looked at the 4 or 5 wires that were bare... None were cut, and they taped them off and started the car and she runs fine. They switched the position of the clamps on the intake and will take it for a 50 mile drive tomorrow and hook her up when they get back. If she doesn't grow any codes then they will repair the wires and I will save about $1000. Ao I hope this goes really well

Very cool. I have a buddy that works at that dealership, says they actually stock corksport parts which is pretty cool.

Glad to here you saved $$. But seriously, you could have found that problem on your own, with the help of the MSF experts, and fixed that issue easily. The MSF forums are here to help. Lesson learned. Come to the pros of MSF before going to the dealer

I know this now. I'm gonna meet up with the local NATOR people here in Tampa so I can get to know people around here and can have that expert advice as soon as something happens. I'm definitely more involved now and liking it

there arent really any NATOR tampa people.

Unfortunately everyone is too "busy" to help each other out, lol.

I'm around. Though I don't particularly like to touch other people's cars, (people are always ready to place blame on others) I can walk you through just about anything and help with anything to the best of my limited abilities.

@NavySailorMS3 will too.

I'm around. Though I don't particularly like to touch other people's cars, (people are always ready to place blame on others) I can walk you through just about anything and help with anything to the best of my limited abilities.

@NavySailorMS3 will too.
You know you enjoy using my garage to work on your car. I am always willing to help any car enthusiast with their car.

Lol Jacksonville Mazda Owners Club. Kid has plans for the Tampon area getting a good group. 5 years ago, there was a big crew. But it's pretty much gone I guess. For now.

since recently became single, I am available for anything.

We should start a new thread I suppose. Tampa NATOR.

I wouldn't want to head it though, I suck at making plans. I support well though.

Cool, DTF?

Lol, I'm hoping NATOR gets big around here again; I'm always down to lend a helping hand/reach-around.

I remember when Tampa had a good group. Was long ago but made some good friends. I'll look forward to another group getting back together.

Part of the old Florida Mazda Club crowd? Was based there. I've been around Mazdas since 2001-2002.

fml I had a nice post written out, hit refresh by accident and lost it all.

Sorry to @TexanMS3 for hijacking your thread! But at least you had your problem resolved and you got something started, i guess

in short here's the thread for the Tampa-Centric NATOR startup:
http://www.mazdaspeedforums.org/foru...-nator-122194/

I'll be happy if even one person makes it out other than @NavySailorMS3 and I
Navy is pretty much done with his car, and I just like to mess with my stuff in my spare time.
We're starting this up to get to help and meet you guys. I have a decent amount of tools, floor jack, jackstands and wheel chocks... and other members have offered garages.

I'm going to try to convince my CEO to let me use the covered parking lot near my office for the weekends. It's pretty nice to use and can fit around 20 or so cars. It's down the street from the Moe's so it's not too far

Anyways, hope to meet some of you, and see some of you again!
