The Jalopnik review... |
I was just coming to post this..lol seaching FTW. |
Pretty fair review IMO. The car is showings its age, especially engine wise. Hoping Mazda crushes the competition with a bad ass new "speed" car. Plus lmao at one of the comments said "Buy a volvo C30 instead." Lulz. @daafisch, that guy talkin about the LSD completely contradicted him self after your responded... |

first off I wish I could of bought a review car because the reviewers seem to never have a problem with third gear grind. second, this guy in multiple instances says he likes something about the car and then rates it 7/10. How is liking something and saying it's good warrant a 7/10? faggot |
genpu exterior 7/10 |
I blame it all on Yeezy. |

i am constantly seeing this complaint, and can they just not drive or do they just HAVE to find something wrong with all that power? |
yeah the torque steer people are pussies for sure lol by now it's really become a bed time scary story the awd people tell about fwd cars Another Critics Perspective on the clutch in a review: ASSOCIATE EDITOR JAKE LINGEMAN: The Mazdaspeed 3 is by almost any measure the hottest hatch around. It has the most power, nearly if not the best handling and the tightest clutch this side of a Ford Mustang Cobra. Jalopnik tends to rate things a 7 when they really like them, though. Unless it's a Lambo or Aston something that they lust over, you're not going to see many 8s or 9s. I thought that they were pretty consistent in regards to their established rubric, though I'd have rated higher on value, ride, and acceleration. |
Is the WRX really faster? I thought every comparison I've seen has the MS3 ahead of the WRX |
They are big time quick to 60 over the MS3 but not on the highway they are not. Not stock at least. |

Top Gear hates the new ST so maybe there is some justice after all. |

67/100 isn't a bad score. Jalopnik's scores just seem harsh because they use the same scale for every single car, from Mazda 3's to Astons and McLarens and shit. |
i don't really get how reviewers have so much trouble with torque steer. i wonder if mazda is giving them, ahh, 'massaged' cars with some extra HP on board. either that or they have scrawny little t-rex arms. |
Ultimately I think all the crybabies are experiencing the effects of the limited-slip on less-than-perfect road surfaces. When one wheel tries to "climb" an imperfection like road crown or depressions from heavy traffic during hard acceleration, that is really what pulls the car around. This all really reminds me of the folks who bitch about guns that don't have manual safeties. If you can't be safe with the trigger, don't handle the fucking gun. |

Having come from the Honda side of things, I have nothing but great things to say about this car. Seriously one of my favorite cars. I even had a 2.0T Wolfsburg (so I know VWs offerings too). The interior does not feel cheap -- hop into a WRX or 2012 civic si and then call this cheap. Some people just love to hate...I'm not even a Mazda fan boy. I approached this car with an open mind and loved it. Hell, the everyday driver guys are also really liking the MazdaSpeed 3 (one of the reviewers thinks its better than the ST). |
Most people who review cars say, for magazines, can't drive for shit. They have particular cars they will always praise no matter what... BMW 3 series for instance... They nitpick the little shit too. |

Crap. Now I want a hot dog and some inexpensive and moderately stylish mass produced Swedish furniture. I'll be back in an hour... |
*Swedish-named furniture made in China Also, $5 a hotdog includes a bun, and some dressing. Hot dog vendors gotta eat too. |
