| Not Ranked : 0 score I'm pretty sure we can throw axle out because that's referring to the noise made during non-aggressive 1-2 shifts. The OP dumped the clutch trying to spin the tires. I know the solution is just get an aftermarket RMM but I am kinda curious as to what is actually making the noise, subframe or firewall.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Uh.. That noise isn't a loud bang... Itsa rattle. The engine moves quite a bit to the firewall doesn't it? The engine moves a shit ton without mounts, it is hitting the firewall when pushed too hard. Look at the crappy video. #1 to see what happens when the OP shifts gears. |

The engine DOES move quite a bit towards the firewall, but those videos don't show you what's happening behind the engine. Believe me, nothing is hitting the firewall. If I have time today I'll snap some pictures with the RMM removed and the engine moved to maximum deflection in each direction so you can see that the turbo and down pipe are not in danger of contacting anything.
