Default Keep it or sell it?

Bought my 2012 MS3 new back in early 2013. Currently it has about 91k on it and the clutch has started slipping. So far I've only noticed it in 4th or 5th gear when under load, and while it's the first car I've experienced it with I'm certain it'll only get worse. Trying to decide whether it's worth it to put the money into having the clutch/flywheel replaced, or if it's maybe time to sell the car and move on.

It has been mostly trouble-free and it's still fun to drive, but I also now have an ND Miata that could be my fun car if I get rid of the speed3 (and I also have a reservation for a 30AE Miata that I may or may not upgrade to). I guess what I'm concerned about is whether this is the beginning of things starting to go downhill. I haven't experienced smoking turbo at all or any other major issues but I'm wondering if/when they'll start happening.

I looked on Edge earlier and I could get a clutch kit and flywheel for about $1k as long as I don't use OEM dual-mass, then it's a question of whether I try and do the work with a buddy of mine or pay a shop to do it. Seems like a pretty extensive project from the walkthrough on here.

I know this is a personal decision, but any suggestions?

Keep it. Clutches eventually wear out. If you maintained it well it’s got lots of life left in her.

I think I've maintained it pretty well. Changed the oil every 5k with Pennzoil Platinum and Mazda filter, transmission fluid changed twice with XT-M5-QS, spark plugs every 20k or so... It has been a solid car for the most part, though I'm currently also dealing with the airbag warning light on my dashboard (not the passenger light). Took it to a shop the other day and they said the battery was showing low voltage that could cause it, so their labor for the "tests" and new battery install cost me $423. Only to have the light back on today. Going to call them back in the morning and see what they have to say.

Other than that, it's also been starting kind of rough with long cranks sometimes. Can't seem to figure out what's causing it. Not battery, alternator, starter, plugs, thinking maybe it could be EGR related but it has never thrown a CEL code. Does the EGR ever get clogged and not throw a code?

My dash airbag light is on too. While it's not advisable, I have ignored it.

With that light on, your airbag will not deploy when needed.

The likely cause is a faulty seat position sensor or wiring harness.
