About to head home and install my new front struts. Have all the steps down but have one question. There was a bag that came with the struts, "lock washer, nut, ziptie and a large clear/white plastic washer"


Is the larger washer used? I see it fits the shaft but I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere.

They are pressure relief things... if you bottom the car hard without them, the bumpstop can create a huge amount of pressure on the upper piston seal and damage it. So, absolutely make sure those white plastic rings are sitting on the top of the shock body.
