Default Kozmic Motorsports Saves the Day

Well, after trying to debate on where to put this thread, I figured Gen2 general discussion would be best since it's more of a thank you for saving my ass for someone else's fuck up on my full PI System Kozmic made.

As most of you know I have the KozmicMotorsports full PI system on my car and it's been running amazing and flawlessly since day, David's customer service, time and knowledge was unmatched when I approached them about making the system for me. To this day I haven't had a single issue with it.....Until my dumbass cage guy broke a fitting off lol.

The Kozmic PI system utilizes the Stock Fuel pump basket modified with bulk head fittings and to fit dual pumps of your choice inside the basket. The stock DI fuel system retains the oem quick disconnect style line and the 2nd pump added uses -6an bulk head fittings to run my PI system as well as a -6an return line back into the basket. I get a text message from my cage guy saying... "hope this doesn't cause too much of an issue" sends me a picture of the broken oem molded fitting on the fuel pump basket and was like I can just fix it here ( I lol'd and told him no thanks you will be paying to have this fixed at whatever cost). This is 7 days before I'm supposed to be headed to Bakersfield to race the car. I frantically called David and sent him pictures of what he broke and say's it can be fixed and is willing to make it happen in the time crunch I was in. David is top notch and always willing to help when he can, I can't thank him enough for getting this fixed for me and back in time to still get me to the track to make passes...

Below are some pictures of what broke off on the top hat and the fix. The first picture is the broken fitting, 2nd) is the basket re-installed in the car, 3rd) is the bulk head fittings on the top of the basket.

Thank you again David, saved my ass in a pinch!

No problem Bryce. Glad we could get it all done in time, it was looking sketchy with that weird Mazda OEM fitting lol. Hope to see everything back up in action soon.
