Looking to join the MS3 Family

Hey guys this is my first post to the forums. I wanted to get an opinion on a car to see what the community thought of it. I found an MS3 here in Houston that I am looking at purchasing but none of my friends know anything about them. Wanted some first impressions about the car and the pictures he took. Let me know what yall think!

Meh.........buying a modified car is like a box of chocolates, you really never know what you'll get.

While it does seem to be 'properly modified', modified cars in general tend to be beaten on a lot.
also the price is kind of high in my opinion, especially if you don't like every single mod on the car.

try to offer 17k

AFTER

AFTER

a compression test and leak down test.

if it passes that, you should be good, also check for smokey turbo ( read about that ).

The car looks great. But you should check it out in person or at least test drive it so that you'll know if it is really worth buying.

Agreed. I'd definitely be weary of these though, cause you never know if the owner really knew what he was doing. It's just my personal opinion, but I shy away from cars that have been heavily visually modified, it gives me the impression they care a bit less about its functionality. That being said, it could definitely be a really solid car. Point is, don't make any moves on this until you are completely sure its a solid car. Get the compression and leak down tests done for sure, but also become familiar with how external OEM body panels look and fit, as well as parts under the hood. If I knew my car had a Chinese knock off front bumper and a Mazda 3 power steering fluid reservoir when I bought it, I would've known it had been in a wreck...don't be like me.

Lol, I come from being admins of other forums and shit, I also know what kind of sneaky shit people try to pass off when selling a car.

Everyone is selling their car for a reason, some might realize it has low compression, some have no money to care for it ( which can mean it wasn't cared for )....etc etc.

buying a modified car to most people is a giant no, even if it does look 'rad'.

Also, OP judge the owner by how he talks and dresses, is he a 'fuck boy'.

Well the car certainly looks hot...I wish white was available when I had bought mine, buttt like the others said you gotta see, test drive, do your research etc etc. Half the fun in buying an MS3 is modding it, so you'd also miss out on a lot of that...
