Looking for a sun shade?

Hi everyone,

I've been looking all day and can't seem to find a half decent sun shade for my 10 MS3, and was wondering if anyone can give any suggestion on any?

Thanks

head to any auto parts place and get something reflective. job complete.

1. buy case of plasti-dip
2. apply 3-4 coats to windshield every time you park
3. ....
4. profit

I have a cheap two piece one. I guess it works but in AZ my car hits 122 so I mainly use it to protect my dash from fading/cracking. Don't get one of those shiny tin foil types because in 6 months it will crack and spray dusty crap every time you touch it.

doesn't weathertech make custom fit ones? not that they would be near cheap though.

I bought the shades that are meant for the 2012 Mazda 3... They fit and look great on my speed

Mazda sells the sunshade for $40, which is made for the Mazda3. You can get it at any dealer.

And it also fits the evoX perfectly. Ask me how I know.

This.

I have the Covercraft. Fills the entire windshield, and doesn't sag at all due to the strength of the materials. It definitely works better to reflect heat than the flimsy shit they sell at Walmart.

sorry man, i've had the flimsy bubble wrap/reflective shit sold at walmart for 2 years now. $10, works just fine. plus, it's always in the car and the kids climb all over it, so they can stand up to some abuse..

fuck $50 sunshades.

Crarrs 06-28-2012 11:28 AM

Look up the weather record on Yuma, AZ. It is, in fact and statistically, the sunniest place on the planet. I've had the flimsy Walmart shit. It disintegrated after 1 summer of 115+ degree days.

adlpb 06-28-2012 11:30 AM

Yup. Here in FL those wal-mart sun shades go FUBAR after a few months. It's a good investment IMO.

I agree. This sunshade is top quality. It is extremely sturdy and fits in the windshield perfectly. I got the bag to put it in, which also is good quality. You get what you pay for. BTW 106 degrees today in AR

Right on, yeah I got lucky, I'm working 11pm-7am this week. Then its off to the east coast to hit the beach for two weeks...lol

ibcrusn 06-28-2012 11:47 AM

ditto on the Walmart $10 jumbo sunshade. I'd rather put the other $30 towards beer or gas.

niterydr 06-28-2012 02:34 PM

Another vote for the covercraft one! A buddy of mine has one for his 370z and its nice and fills the windshield completely. Just ordered one for my mustang from autoanything.com.

rocmemphis 06-28-2012 02:55 PM

Fits MS3 perfectly.
