Make a Build Thread?

So recently about a few months ago our 2013 Speed 3 had a little mishap in the process of testing some new product. In a nutshell the stock rods are not meant to handle 40+ pounds of boost.

About a week ago I just got to tearing it all down. What i want to know is if I made a build thread would you guys be interested in it? I could basically document the thread into sections as we put the new engine together. Maybe even include some "prototype parts"???

whats your take?

That's a rhetorical question.

Why the hell not, I'm sure it's gonna be a poplar thread

Would like to see a build thread and then maybe some explanations on why you would choose certain parts as well. What needs to be replaced, what can be left stock like headstuds or headgaskets, ect. What can be re-used?

Just some questions that I think will hit home.........

That's actually the direction I was thinking of approaching. For this first build, We are going to approach it as a more budget friendly build. SO we probably wont have crazy sleeved blocks and custom rod and pistons that cost $1500 or pushing 800whp or anything.

It will be a solid build with good quality parts and ill make sure to put in some info on why we did what we did. Given the time ill make this as well written as i can.
