In the market for an MS3?
 

Hey all, so I'm in the market for an MS3. I'm in between the '12 and '13 model, and in regards to exterior/interior styling, are there any differences between the two years? I've done my research, but still can't find any side by side comparisons. I appreciate anyone's input. Thanks!

The 13 has the gunmetal wheels and the new navi is a touch screen unlike the smaller screen from the older models that were on the dash.

I see, so essentially they're the same aside from wheel color and navi system features. That's definitely not much of a difference but price is substantially higher on the '13, with or without the tech package.

If going for tech, I think a '13 is worth it. If not, get a 2012.

I'm having a hard time finding '13 w/tech pkg in my area. But certainly many '12/'13 w/o tech pkg. I really like the option of having the keyless entry/push button, factory HIDs. Then again you could always add an aftermarket hid kit and a touch screen headunit.

Get a 12 with tech and use the saved money for mods. I really like the smaller nav up top. It's easier to glance at while ripping around back roads. Only + for the 13 in my eyes are the rims in my opinion

After market HIDS are not near as good as OE. I can't believe your local Mazda dealer doesn't have a few '13/tech

I would just get a '12 if you can't get the '13 tech.

So basically all the changes are in the headunit like said above, but to me that is worth every penny. An OEM Headunit is going to be better than any aftermarket you have to shoehorn into there (and no matter what its not going to look stock which I hate) other additional things with a tech

OEM HID's- Better than pretty much any afternarket
LED Tails- Sexy as fuck
Keyless entry/Push button start-Worth every penny

I was skeptical about spending the extra cash, but to me its worth every penny. Its so nice to have all of that in a daily driver IMO

Get non tech+use extra moneys for BT=WIN.

Save money and get a 12 with tech and plasti dip the wheels and rear bumper around the exhaust and call it a day.. But I do love my 13 in cwp

The dealer was willing to come off another 1K in discounts for the tech equipped, made it a no-brainer for me.

Terrible advice. lol There is much envy on my behalf.
