So this morning we went over to my girlfriends aunts house to go say hi and visit it was a very nice pleasant morning then when we were about to go i went to the car to warm it up and i see her uncle backing up so i honked and attempted to move forward...... But it was too late i was listening to the crunch on my right quarter panel.... He was late to work and we said we were gonna figure it out later. Any thoughts suggestions?

sucks, but it's not like he won't pay for it. you shouldn't even need to contact your insurance, and definitely shouldn't have to pay a deductible. he should be contacting his insurance and paying his deductible...if you decide to go through insurance that is.

This will hit his liability coverage; he won't have to pay any deductible. His rates might go up, but that is his prob. His insurance should cover a rental for you while your car is in the shop (repeat...in the shop...don't get a rental until the car goes in the shop).
