Limerock,

No you don't need jackoff stands if you park on the flat part of the ramp, somewhere on the ramp there should be some kind of ANSI rating for the weight the ramps are rated for, just make sure they don't exceed your vehicle's weight...it's that fucking simple, you must be Canadian. It's been so long ago...thanks for the correction. Man I loved reading that shit. I was locked online before I bought my car on a trip from Idaho to Phoenix and never got bored. I may just have to look up some the old threads....for good times sake lol. I thought I had the names a little mixed up... That's right, Jwillkins was always on top of those threads

You are so right though, normally when people posted dumb shit they got raped so hard you rarely even saw them post back. It was always them just running off to m247 and complaining and then getting coddled by those guys. I remember many times where I was literally loling and close to tears.

Seeing OPs car half way up them ramps reminds me of seeing a guy try to jack up his truck halfway up a boat ramp with the boat attached. I went over and pointed out that if he pulled up another 50' he would be on flat ground and out of the way of his fellow boaters. If I wasn't such a nice guy I would have cracked open another microbrew stood back and videoed the ensuing fail. Funny, people explaining in this thread why you should pull ALL the way up the ramps.

WTF is the carpet and floor mat doing under the ramps? Preventing the concrete from getting scratched?

People are explaining that because this isn't so much a case of cracking a beer and laughing because someone is just being stupid and might fuck up their rig...but that if someone climbs under a car and the ramps slip and move then that person would be crushed to death. Even with how fucked up everyone on this site is, I know that no one wants someone to die over a simple lack of forethought like this.

People put carpet or a rubber mat under the ramps to keep them from slipping back as you drive up.

Carpet is where I wipe my feet before going indoors from the garage. And also what 2k 4 said.

Yep, first time using ramps and moving forward will go up all the way, thanks for all your advices.

Someone mentioned that they remove the lower stock black bumper lip and clearance is fine then with these ramps? I noticed some air damns in front of the front wheels also. I'm guessing they would clear too ?
