(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Paytime came last week, and now I'm debating where to go with my baby. Right now, I have about $600 tenuously saved up in my bank(broke college student here. D ![]() I'm wondering, what should I do first? I already have a cobb SRI. I could: Get a JBR, 80 duro RMM OR Spend my entire savings and get a cobb AP. Which would you get first? Is the RMM THAT much of a difference to be worth the $110? I'm thinking the RMM since its cheaper, but if the cobb really makes an impact right away, I don't know. Mind you I don't have extra money for a HPFP, so if things go south on that AP I've got nowhere to go. Thank you, Roddiy. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score RMM + Donation mod (for access to service manual) = $135...money well spent. Then keep saving for the AP.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Yeah based on this I think ill go RMM + donation, and perhaps some not to expensive sprngs? I do want to have a bit of savings you know ^^ As for the RMM, is the 80d billet better than the dogbone, as far as DD is concerned? I do plan on doing a couple launches here and there, when those SRTs try me at red lights |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Dogbone is fine for a DD. At first you'll be a little annoyed, but after it wears in, it's perfect. Bit of vibes at certain RPM under certain conditions, but it's certainly nothing you can't handle in a DD. Plus, it's cheaper.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Although the steel may be different, the design itself of the billet causes it to be more prone to failing. You can't go wrong with the dogbone. I highly recommend it.

| Not Ranked : 0 score It's thinner, but it's solid. The billed is more of a hollow piece - it is not solid steel inside. It is designed to absorb a bit more of the vibrations caused by the engine.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Why are people recommending he get a fuel pump before an ap? Unless he gets cpe, he will have to monitor his pressure with something to make sure they were installed properly. OP, get the RMM, then save for the AP. After that you will want fuel pump and intake and then everything else you want to do after. The EGR delete and OCC can be done whenever you would like, the sooner the better, but I don't have either on my car so who am I to talk?

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Yeah FP and AP should be done together( Ouch, $900 ) but its worth it. For now I have a cheap bluetooth dongle that works fine for monitoring, Im just really between the 80d and the dog bone ATM ^^ Ill probably get a muffler delete sometime this week too, for a little sound( I found a shop that did my friend's mazda3 for $60) Im also considering a Rear Sway, so Ill look into that as well. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score No prob man. Good luck with the RMM. Like people said, give it some break in time before you decide if you like it or not.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Do the rear motor mount, then save up for AP, and then if you want to push the car get the fp internals etc.

| Not Ranked : 0 score OK, I'm in a similar position as the OP. I have searched and read, and searched and read...now I'm just confused. For some reason I thought that I needed internals and AP before the CS-sri on the genpu? My planned modpath was RMM, AP + Internals, sri, then dp. Can the stock FP keep up with the sri? It would be easier on the budget to go rmm, cs-sri for now. Then internals and AP after the first of the year. I'd sworn I was going to keep this car stock.... but yeah, that ain't gonna happen...

![]() I hoped to stick to SRI and that's it haha, but soon I revamped my mod-guide, now I plan on going AP, Internals, and probably a DP down the road ![]() Budget is always tight here too, But if I were you ( and at one point, I was) I'd go SRI first, it made a HUGE notable different over stock, these intakes are very restrictive by standard, and opening up the breathing is always good. Hope you have fun going down this Rabbit hole, I know I am | |

| Not Ranked : 0 score I live within an hour of corksport. Plan on going down to their BBQ on the 24th and picking up an sri then. I went through a modded cobra and Lightning... so I know how it goes. Cars are moneypits. I can afford to buy everything at once... but my wife may force the sale of some guns, or go on a purse binge. Gotta be careful and not piss off the cook...
