My Case of the Mondays

1 Attachment(s)
So on Monday, I was driving on to Ft.Bliss to run some errands and got snagged for one of their awesome "random" vehicle inspections. This genius MP is ground-guiding me into the lane where they do the inspections when I hear a loud crunch. I immediately jumped out of my car to find that the moron had guided me into a curb and it fucked up my passenger side skirt. Almost all the clips are broken and it is scuffed up pretty badly. Unfortunately there isn't much I can do legally because I'm sure even though he was guiding me, they would just chalk it up to driver error. Now I'm here looking for advice. I have looked around online and can't find anyone that has the OEM side skirts for a speed3. I would like to avoid an insurance claim and pay out of pocket if possible, I just can't find the damn part. Anyone know where I may be able to get one?

I'll take it as your not in the military.
When someone is ground guiding a vehicle it is their responsibility to ensure it does not hit anything. If it does, then it is the ground guides fault, not the driver.

Granite in this case, well it was not a LMTV or something, so both are kinda at fault. Tho I would be pissed as well.

Take it off, sand/fill the gashes and repaint it
