The ultimate racing is same design and if you want a big front mount then its either this or no crash bar.

paint job!



I dont care if you flame my welds, i am pretty decent with a stick welder but this was my first with a mig, and it was a little different.

Here is a pic of my uncles welds also for @JTMS3


Also, does anyone no where i can get this plastic wheel well from cheap.

Update: uncle just picked my tow hook up and he will be welding a nut to the crash bar so you can use the hook or plate. Also he is making me a license plate bracket. 2 for 1 deal lol.

Looks good @chudson91! It will certainly leave a considerable amount of room for a BIG IC, given the "standard looking" sized core you have in there ATM. The tow hook is a nice bonus. Really it just comes down to price and time to make/unit.

As this and the UR bar look similar, as long as your uncle can make these cost-effectively (and with an easy way to possibly attach the IC to it for support, then you should be good to go!

If i get in a front bumper crash, i hope its a normal vehicle. If its a lowered cars, or a jacked up truck, yes im fucked lol. Got to take that chance.

So it's the same amount as the ur crash bar exactly. Why wouldn't we order from them instead. Not saying what you've done isn't good work bc it looks nice. I was kinda hoping it would've been a lil cheaper bc I need a smaller crash bar for my fmic.

Ok new update, this bar will have the tow hook option . Also the mounts for the intercooler are adjustable, and the intercooler is solid as a rock, it is not moving at all. Pics tomorrow after paint job and when light is out.

also this is the r and d one so it will go cheap and also he will let me no how much they will cost.

What core are you running?


EDIT: Nextmod will have the Valiant grill for the Gen2 Speed ready for April. IF you run that you can get the whole IC exposed for better cooling.

Looks good, only question is are the brackets that hold the IC at the top very flexible?? I can't imagine all who may want this will be looking for an IC as large as yours in the pic.

Heck no the brackets for ic he made are about 1/4 in think steel. The intercooler is solid as a rock with no play at all.

@Celestspeed3, its a secret core lol, naw it cxracing 29x11x3 with 2.5 inlet and outlet. I havent done a log to see how good it is, but people have said good things about it and if i dont like it, for the money i spent on it i sell and get different core.

I'm hoping to get a 31x16x3 heat exchanger in there for a liquid to air setup. I'm thinking I will needa new crash bar and mount it on an angle. Love your work.
