Seriously dude, everyone who acts like a jackass to noobs are so fucking hypocritical. I agree that people should do research before fucking with their car. I agree that people should read the stickies and learn the basics of these cars, because they truly are different from most other vehicles. And I agree that it does get a bit annoying when people ask the same basic questions over and over again, like "what intake should I buy". However, you don't have to be a raging cocksucker to someone who doesn't know the "laws" of MSF or any other forum. Then to rag on someone who's only been here for 1.5 months because you've been here for 6 months longer than them like you're the fucking bawss - shit is weak. Chill the fuck out man. Everyone has to start somewhere. Everyone asks for help and suggestions from time to time, whether it be to your doctor about the anal rape that occurred to you, or how to mod your car. If you don't want to answer, then don't answer. If you don't want to read the thread (I'm pretty sure the title obviously stated what this was about), then don't read the fucking thread. Its that simple. Don't discourage those who share the same interests as us, but have some learning to do. It pisses people off and makes our community smaller. When someone with 50+ posts asks why my BOV is causing a CEL, then you can/should flame away. Anyways, thanks for the early morning rant. Granted he didn't ask what BOV to get because then my fucking head would have exploded. I have kept my personal flaming to a minimal because before I ever EVER ask anything in life I try to find the answer myself because I like to know how and why things work the way they do. Yes I can be a cocksucker but I have paid my dues on other forums and can take an ass chewing. This is the interwebs and we are men (most of us, sorry to all the women who read this) and everyone should have some thick skin. To answer your question, yes we are still friends and I also just got done fighting rush hour Chicago traffic so imagine my frustration....

Whenever I run into a problem, the first thing I do is search, and then search some more, and then I text the shit out of everyone that owns a speed on my contacts list, and then after all that haz failed, then I post up my said fail. I don't know @GODspeed7 personally, but I have spoken to him via text many many times, and believe me he knows his shit. Could he have easily answered the op's question? Sure, we all could have, but why did we pay our membership dues, to keep this site up and going, only for others to just pop in, ask away and be lazy? I mean seriously, have you seen some of the posts in the gen2 section lately? And that was my morning rant. Enjoy your day hombres. |
