CHEAP OEM Wideband o2's!

So I got an o2 sensor from a fellow member (2nd gen primary o2 wideband). Its an NTK part. Mazda sells them for $390. Rock auto has them for $120, dafuq?!?

Anyway, can anyone get a pic of the stock one or check the numbers on it? I can only get about half the numbers on it, which are UAA0001 MD....... etc.

The markings on the ntk part are UAA0001-MD008

If we can confirm these are the same sensors (they look exactly the same), maybe no more $300+ wideband oem o2s.

I dunno, why don't you take a pic with both of them? Even with an employee discount, I paid $365 for the one. :(

My stock one is still on the car, its welded in there so I cant get it off, and getting a pic is a bitch. Tried many angles and a mirror, the only numbers I can make out are UAA0001 MD

LOL, well I am not risking it by pulling the one out of my car ;).

Shit Rockauto even lists this sensor as the OE part. Sure beats $300 online, and $390 from the dealer.

rfinkle2 09-05-2012 06:33 AM

I'll pull mine and have a look see.

Thanks G26.

MPS_Fan 09-05-2012 06:42 AM

damn bro, i just pulled mine yesterday on my BNR S3 Install. The heatshield construction on the stock DP is bullshit. You have to pull the O2 Sensor to remove the shielding. What a pitta!

Yes, and that is the point where mine stripped on my Beaner install turning a 6 to 8 hour job into a 12 to 14 hour job. :(

Thank you, except I really just need the numbers on the oem gen 2 sensor. The NTK part from rockauto and the oem gen 2 wideband look exactly alike, to a T.

G26 09-05-2012 07:30 PM

Anyone? Still curious about the numbers on the oem o2.

G26 09-06-2012 03:11 PM

Shit, by the time someone gets these numbers, I will have my oem one out of the car and can confirm for all you fucks.

G26 09-08-2012 10:21 AM

I am confirming this is the oem o2 sensor. It has the same numbers UAA0001-MD008 on it as the stock one does, and it is in the car performing flawlessly.

Your welcome for finding a $120 oem wideband for the gen 2.

Thanks. Good work! :)

EDIT - For the record, the part # on RockAuto's site is "NTK Part # 24393", correct?

If It says NTK is the oe manufacturer next to the part, it is the oem sensor.
