never buying an intake again
 

So here I am 3 days after a rallx event and I'm cleaning under the hood of my speed 3. I removed my intake to clean under it, and thought just for shits and gigs I'm going to throw the stock box back on. About an hour later I ran to the store for some delicious beverages, and I almost forgot how quiet and tame these cars sound with no intake. Now to my point.. I got on it and the car accelerated noticeably faster then usual. Has anyone experienced the same? Its almost as if the power comes on more linear then just quick spool and then waiting for power. It pisses me off really.
P.S when I say stock box I am referring to the factory intake box

Also no tune..

What was the point of throwing it back on? That's a complete waste of time.

You need tune, and loud lol try fully mounted and UR turbo back with no resonator.

You must of had a boost leak or something not right with your intake if you think the stock intake made it faster.

Your butt dyno is off, too much secks.

Oil is also overrated. Next oil change don't even bother with oil, water is a much better lubricant for these cars.

Ah fuck it... just save yourself the trouble of lubrication to the engine and trans. Seems like your gonna need it. Either to loosen up your butt dyno or for the future rammage that will commence shortly.
