New 2012 MS3! 1 Attachment(s) Just got my new 2012 MS3 Silver w/o Tech. Have been a long time creeper on the forum doing research before I got the car. I got it for 23k including tax, title, and dealer fees. I have put 500 miles on it already in 5 days and absolutely love it. I will be doing an SRI and RMM as soon as I get the inspection sticker, but other then that will be keeping mostly stock until my commute shortens (80 miles a day round trip) so I am loving the MPGs, not broken in yet I have been averaging about 30 calculated at the pump. I come from muscle cars so it is a steep learning curve to swap to a turbo 4, but so far I have learned a lot from this forum, ad have been loving the new ride. Here is one pic, it is covered in bugs, but have not had time to get to a car wash (or even register) since purchase since I'm starting a new job. |
congrats!!! i am sure you'll even love it more if you just do 'lil more bolt on upgrades. whenever you feel like. |
Hi. Eventually you will stop missing the muscle cars. I have a friend with a Camaro 2003 or something w the LS1 w long tube headers yafdd yadda prob 450hp and he LOVES driving my car. And I get nothing out of driving his. Can't even see out the bitch. The MS3 is a high performance car that requires attention when you drive it and that is what makes it so much fun. You will eventually find the act of silently driving past people in a non-descript car addicting. |
cobb AP econo tune and welcome |
Congrats. Got my 12' a few weeks ago. Already over 1000 miles. That 30 mpg wont last long. Eventually you'll get more used to the go go pedal and it's all down hill from there. :cool2: |
I am already finding that, this is a much more rewarding to drive, even at low speeds. The steering and throttle response are much more solid. I had a 2001 Camaro LS1 (last year was 02), and a 1994 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Its nice to have a car that is only noticed by other enthusiasts...and not every cop I drive by ha Quote:

Congrats on new car. I too am looking for one. Where did you end up getting yours? Im in Northern Mass. Was thinkin about heading up to Grappone mazda...as it looks like they have 4 of them all with tech packages (which is what I am lookin for) Jay |
Welcome, you picked the best color. Good luck getting 30 mpg for long. |

I would stay away from Grappone, have always had bad luck, and bad salesmen, and not the best prices. I got mine at Tulley Mazda/VW/Buick in Nashua, they were an amazing group and the most painless experience I have ever had at a car dealer. If you can talk to Alan Dickey, great salesman, no bullshit no jerking you around. If they don't have the car in stock they will get it for you so don't worry about that. I test drove a silver with tech there 2 weeks ago, but decided I'd rather have the $$ for other things, but I know they have at least a few tech cars. |
Congrats on the purchase!! and welcome. Don't worry once you get enough funds from that new job then you'll pull the trigger on More mods.. simply took me to 2 years cause I wasted a bunch of money on random things when I was in high school. If your considering that intake and rmm soon JP and Eric at edge autosport will hook you up!:18: |
