New cars, options, BRAIN EXPLODING

So I finally got a job. Yay.

I will be trading in the Tacoma for a Raptor this fall/ winter but I haven't decided on what to do with the speed. I like it and all, but it has 36k miles or so and I feel a bit like its time to move on. My wife and I both have company cars, so whatever I end up with will not see a ton of miles. I really really want a CTS-V but I don't think $60k is in my budget just yet. I am looking at an Evo or and STI though. What else is floating around the market that might be cool? I need something that I can drive the whole family in if I choose (Wife, 2.5 year old daughter, and I) and has some decent performance. Most likely a 4 door car.

Toss out some ideas!

I'm currently contemplating the new veloster turbo (new) , or a 370z (lightly used) - but if it had to have 4 doors, and price range was 25-50k, I would probably want something besides evo, sti or m3, since all are over-done / douchey (m3)...
I would probably try to pick up a lexus - isF would be sex, but even an is250 or 350 are fun to mod, reliable, sorta cheap, and luxury.

I would seriously research and test drive an evo several times before thinking about switching it out for your ms3. As a previous owner of an evo, your family will not want to take trips to the grocery store or anywhere in it. Just my experience.

@rfinkle2 yeah, as far as mods go I don't think Ill get too into messing with the next vehicle, but that's what i say now... I got the MS3 so I wouldn't mod it and see what happened?

The Raptor is a done deal, thats happening. Pretty much I want something that is fun to drive out of the box. No too concerned about RWD, FWD, AWD, just fun. Pretty sure my work car will be a fusion, so thats what I need to one up lol. It really feels like the speed is going to stay around at this point, at least for another year. Might have to boost the truck, though.

I'd take the C30 Polestar. Still a hatch and with 440hp to all four wheels. I don't think it's in production yet though.

But I'm suprised there's so many thumbs up for IS-F. I'd love to know why.

Most opinions I hear are that it didn't quite meet the goal of M3 killer.

The E46 is the biiiigggest douche bag magnet.

The E9x's seem pretty hard to beat, but I feel like they're not the most inspired choice anymore... At least the IS-F is different, I like the inside more too.

The next M3 should be coming up soon...

true i like the v8 m3 though. But the next one should be going back to I6 probly turbo
