(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Cobb SRI, Sure shortcut/weight and anchors, UR test pipe and CBE ( no mid pipe still stock) and Elbrich springs. I'm looking to add the following this weekend and believe its a good start based on my readings. Let me know what you guys think. Denso ITV-22 plugs, and a CP-e Stage 2 wishbone RMM Future plans include: 1. AutoTech Internals 2.UR ceramic DP, UR Resonated Test ( yes this replaces the one I have) UR Resonated Midpipe. 3. CS FMIC With the Ram air TM intake my biggest question is, Should I get my AP and tune AFTER the upgrades are installed or Get it prior to? Again I'm new and have already recieved some mixed information concerning this and its why i'm here. I appreciate your help guys. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score sounds like a good plan of mods. i would do the rmm like you said then get a ap, hpfp internals, and continue with other mods. also you may wanna do some more research on you fmic choice. alot of people had issues with it. you allready have a sri so just do the sri fmic by corcksport. i think it fits with the cobb sri, just my 2 cents. welcome to the forum.

| Not Ranked : 0 score welcome. First thing, a test pipe replaces your mid pipe, it eliminates the second cat that these cars come with. no need to change that out as a pipe is basically a pipe. second, on a gen 2 you need fuel pump internals before any tunes to make sure that you don't get fuel cut as this will throw off all your numbers. Since you already have the sri and test pipe, internals needs to be your next mod (aside from the rmm). Before you get the down pipe you need to get an ap. these cars are finnicky about the parts you put on them without tuning the ecu, and you're pretty much at the limit with just the sri and test pipe, at least power wise. you've come to the greatest online resource for mazdaspeeds and you've already donated so you got off on the right foot for being here. keep searching before you do much more to the car just so you know exactly what you're getting into, and have a ton of fun with your car. |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Hey guys! Thanks a bunch for the input! First up @ davinspeed3 Thanks a lot for the info! I'll look further into the FMIC. However, the only reason I was leaning towards the combination top mount RAM box/FMIC kit from CS was for the Design. I love how it flows and retains a very clean look to the bay. But, definitely will continue researching. Next Up @ anavrinIV seems like solid input. Internals will be the next mod. I'm really glad you said something, cause I was leaning towards completing the Exhaust. ![]() so next up: 1. Autotech internals 2. Cobb AP ( by the way how's the learning curve on the AP) 3. DP 4. FMIC Overall I really appreciate the feed back. |
