(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Thanks for clearing that up. What they need to do is throw the ecoboost V6 from the F-150 into the new mustang... 365hp/420ft-lbs.... we have an extended cab at work that is a beast. I can only imagine that same engine thrown into a much lighter rwd car.

| Not Ranked : 0 score The 2014 SHO is rated at 365/350 and weighs 4455 lbs. And I thought the Charger was a bloated pig... Here's the weird part for the F150 curb weights: Base Curb Weight - 3.5L V6 EcoBoost (lbs) - - 5073 Base Curb Weight - 3.7L V6 (lbs) - - 4685 Base Curb Weight - 5.0L V8 (lbs) - - 4791 So you'd have to presume plopping it in the Mustang would make it 250lbs heavier than the GT. That would suck.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Not going to happen. They use a different injector type. The Ecoboost's all use the same injector type with difference capacities as needed.
