New Owner

hey everyone,

Just picked up my Black Mica 2012 MS3.

After selling my 2006 BMW 535I, I wanted something fairly inexpensive. I have a good friend who is the General manager at A local Mazda dealership and got the car with 135 miles on it for practically nothing.

needless to say, it is a blast to drive. It does have its downfalls that have been addressed here in the forums, but boatloads of parts were ordered today!..LOL :18:

I have driven just about everything ( i work in the film industry) but i am using it as a daily. for the 2 days i've owned it so far its Def one of the best bangs for the $.

just wanted to say hi, as i will be on here reading often.

Mark

What did you order?

Jfishe 06-13-2012 02:06 PM

Congrats on the new purchase!

Read, search, donate is what you'll learn first on this forum.

Shameless job attempt for family:
More info on film industry? My cousin has been trying to get back to NY since he graduated from Marymount Manhattan College with a bachelors in theatre arts.

welcome to the forum...

What kind of films

Congrats on the new ride. What did you order and just what is "practically nothing"? Also did you get the tech package or basic model?

Welcome. Post pics of your car, donate, and post nudes of wife/gf in the VIP section. Everyone does it, and since you used to drive a bmw 5 series, you must have a trophy wife.

Haha! Something like that. Can't make fun of him for the college though. I visited him a few times and the student body is roughly 70% girls, 20% gay guys, and 10% straight guys so the odds of picking up girls is fantastic.

Mpettograsso 06-13-2012 07:21 PM

Stuff

I ordered
HID,s - 5k
Rmm - sure ms ( because it looks cool)
Shift plate with weight / metal anchors
Cobb knob
Cobb Sri
Cobb turbo inlet pipe

I want Rota g forces, and coil overs. Prob next month.

Yes, totally into donating, totally into the gf pics. My wife is a keeper too.

If you goto The Internet Movie Database (IMDb) and type in my user name - that's me. I shouldn't have said anything because sometimes people don't believe me. Lol......but yes...that's me.

The car rocks so far.

I guess I gotta be the first to say it since you're new; pics or it didn't happen. ;)

And IMO, I'd be ordering an AP and AT internals before wheels.

Mpettograsso 06-14-2012 08:36 AM

lol...ok, ok.....ill put up pics.....i just didnt want to because its stock. there's a lot of real nice rides on here.

Darth_Nuruodo 06-14-2012 10:09 AM

Ted looks kind of funny, hopefully it's as raunchy as it looks...

Oh yeah, almost forgot.. welcome.

Mpettograsso 06-17-2012 09:03 PM

Ted was a blast to work on. 5 weeks in Boston. My favorite city to work in!

+1 on this suggestion.

Recently upgraded HPFP internals to Autotech, ditched the Hypertech tuner and upgraded to the AP. Wow!!! what a difference.

I would recommend H&R springs and Koni yellows for a daily driver as well.

Oh and welcome.

Post away man, I havent seen anyone get flamed for posting the new ride their excited about
this isnt scion life, civic derps, or tiburon dbag forums
people here are more concerned about whats under the hood anyway

you should add a Cobb AccessPort to your list of mods... i got one recently and driving this car makes me even more giddy now, plus you will need it if you want to put down any more power at all - and eventually you will need to upgrade your cam driven fuel pump, plenty of stuff to read up on

+ welcome

Congrats on the new ride! I made a similar jump - e92 335i to MS3. I had to get a bigger car and a turbo was a requirement but one that didn't cost a lot to maintain.
