Hey guys,

New owner(Orange County California) of a Mazdaspeed3 ....its a 2012 with tech package. Its got about 50k miles on it...just planning on Daily driving it and Auto X.

Here comes the bad news... I bought it on March 3rd and broke my hip March 7th so I just get to stare at it for a couple months. I am sure I will be active on here with all my free time.

I would use that time to research and find a different mod path.

Welcome and I hope you have a quick recovery.

I am thinking just some KW V 3's/Cat back and acessport for now.

Get with your local nator bros; they will help point you in the right direction for modding. :)

Whalecum!

Welcome! If you hope to be competitive in autocross, keep modding limited to what is legal in GS class; that is the only place it will be competitive IMO. Some good tires (RE-71r) on a 17" wheel, shocks, RSB and driver mod.

sorry to hear about the painful injury. cat back not necessary, but suspension good, rear motor mount, shift plate, shocks, sway bars, tires are all first considerations, then maybe power with ap, fuel pump, and on from there but they lack ability to put down stock power already.
