New Speed3 owner in the Florida Area
 

Hey guys my name is Sean. A little about myself...I am in the NAVY stationed at FRCSE DET Mayport in Florida. I am fairly new to this forum and to the Mazda scene. i created this account a while back without actually owning a MazdaSpeed 3 because i wanted to learn all about the car before i made my decision. Needed something reliable fast and had four doors. After driving my brothers 2007 MS3 i knew that i wanted to own one some day.

Duval Mazda gave me a great deal on this 2012 MS3 that only had 8800miles on it. I love the car and it was a great upgrade from my 2004 Honda Accord. Flame if you want about Honda but she was good to me and "reliable". It was hard to see her go (MS3 made me get over her real quick). I've been apart of many forums so i already know how to use that search button and read. I am looking forward to meeting up with some of you and gaining some more knowledge on this new platform.


Parts on order are the Jbaron RMM and short shifter combo
Next week i will be ordering the Autotech Hi-Volume Fuel Pump and the JBR Power Path Stage 2 Intake

Why would you get flamed for owning a Honda? Meh, my previous daily beater was a Saturn with 215k miles!
If you trade your MS3 for an Accord, then yes, you'll get flamed.

Hola new guy! You are doing great by reading. Right mod path, etc. Duval will sell, but their service is so stank. Do not ever take it in there. EVER. They are really bad. But Greg at Mazda City gives the local club members a deal. Did you go to the Meet n Eat?

As for the stickers I took them off and the licence plate frame as soon as i got the car home. Thanks for the heads up about the service center there. The sale dept. seemed pretty nice. They did tell me that an intake and exhaust would not void the warranty but an aftermarket re-circulation valve will. I would like to ask Greg at Mazda City what to stay away from

Accessport is also on the list. I want to get the version 3.

Congrats! Did you negotiate at Duval Mazda, or you paid their sticker price? They threw a fit when I negotiated prices so I walked out haha.
I bought mine at Mazda City tho.

The Duval chain of dealerships do not allow you to haggle. That is there new policy apparently. Paid the sticker price. What i liked about them is that they quoted me a low APR and then called me in the next day to sign papers for an even lower APR so overall i am happy with the service. I am happy with the car more than anything.

I haggled them down to 24,6xx for a '13 cwp tech before picking up a cwp non tech for under 22k somewhere else, all dealerships will let you "haggle", they are "haggling" you by telling you they don't allow you to "haggle" lol. You paid full sticker, so they stuck it to you, no offense.

As long as you're happy, that's all that really matters!

Apparently my clone is here. I'm Sean, too, and I got my '12 CWP Speed from Duval as well. Luckily I'm in Tampa for school at the moment, otherwise the universe may implode.
