Speedster as my wife calls it, went to the dealer today and they let me drive a 2012 for 3 hours today, had a blast, fucked with a vette and the dude was really surprised, he drove by with a wtf look on his face, gave me a thumbs up. Anyway picked up a white 12 with the tech package for 23 otd plus equitity for my trade, these little bastards are friggen awesome. I know, I need to donate.

CWP kicks ass :D easy to get dirty, but I have so much fun washing it and seeing the shine.

Mods are ALWAYS needed... trust me, it feels fast now but you'll get used to it. When you do, the mod bug will bite.

I was reading about the Cobb short throw shifter and watched the video of the install, I'm really confused as to how the kit makes it a short throw, they don't change any of the cables that control shift throw or the cable ends, they don't really change anything but the shifter ball and shorten the shift lever, am I missing something. I do like the aluminum mount grommets stiffining up the housing.

i guess that shortening the shift lever does shorten the throw. you can see my mods below, i'm fine with the power for now, i just wanted to correct some of the things that i considered to be inadequate.

Which mudflaps did you end up getting, and how was the install? Thinking about picking some up myself.

James barone. install wasnt bad, i had to take the wheels off anyway to switch to winter tires so that made it easier. the plastic in the wheel arch can be stubborn if it's really cold outside but not a huge deal.
