Noise after shutdown
 

There's a faint hum from under the hood after shutdown. It can run for maybe 10 seconds to over a minute. If I put my ear to the hood scoop, I can also hear a very faint clicking.

It doesn't sound abnormal. I'm just curious what it is.

the hum is actually the TB going through a self test before closing.

The clicking might just be the ECU sending the commands...the ECU clicks the entire time you are flashing map so that's the reason for my guess.

Definitely normal. It happens to me as well sometimes after hard driving for long periods of time.
