Best to upgrade your rmm next, then start with insurance first(AP then HPFP internals). Just stay away from exhaust till you have ap/internals. | |

You've donated and that's good, now you're expected to read all the info this board contains before asking questions like this (you won't be asking questions like this after you read). But to be nice, typically initial mods would be: RMM (Rear Motor Mount), Internals (fuel pump internals to upgrade the pump), and AP (Cobb AccessPort). Now go do some reading.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Doing any flow mods (even intake) and not getting an AP or whatever similar device you fancy, is like taking steroids and not working out. You don't necessarily need to get a custom tune, but at least monitor and try an OTS map or two. I'm a noob too and I will tell any newer noob what I learned from some of the local guys. RMM, AP, and internals are mandatory, not even a question about that. Good luck with your mod path and like others said read. I'm on here reading, more than I look at porn. That should tell you something.

| Not Ranked : 0 score To answer your original question, no you do not need a tune for an aftermarket bpv. It is pointless though unless you want the sound. The stock one is good until I think 22lbs of boost. Save your money and buy a rear motor mount, fuel pump internals, Cobb accessport, turbo inlet pipe, and a down pipe. That should get you WELL into the 13's and at that point you have all your basic supporting mods to upgrade further and make BIG power. I see that you have donated, Awesome. That is your best mod so far. Now go to the for sale section you now have access to and save thousands building your monster. |

Depending on your own personal goals (fast or fancy) there is more than enough information on this site for you to make an informed decision, you just have to be willing to put in the time to read it.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Yeah, If I could start over I would have put the money that I spent on my ricer valve for internals. Stock one was working fine, but a local gave me a decent deal on it. And stock MS3 is very slow. Even with just an AP on the stock airbox map the car is much quicker.
