Is this normal 1 Attachment(s) So i apologize but i am newb, and after installing my jbr pp and auto tech hpfp if been watching my pressure like crazy. Im probably just being to cautious my numbers look good at idle and wot, but noticed while coasting in gear my fuel pressure looks like its frozen. I took a quick log if you guys could take a look and just tell me im being paranoid. Attachment 132432 I hope this is normal but searched and didnt see anything. |
You're being paranoid, normally when coasting in gear fuel pressure drop down into the 2-300's and stays there until you begin to accelerate again. This is 100% normal as the vehicle doesn't need as much fuel pressure while coasting. |
PS columns are all messed up but my hpfp actual # is under (psi) and my rpm is under hpfp its frozen at 600 ? |
It will stay very close to what ever it was the very moment your injectors shut off as the throttle plate becomes completely closed. It will then creep up a few psi every second as the fuel stuck in the system becomes heated and starts to expand (is all is healthy with the system). Is normal. |
