Not so new owner but new to modding

Hi everyone, I've barely decided to join this forum after having my 2012 black mica speed3
For about 9 months now. Just never had the time to browse thru forums ever since anyways I'm looking forward to learning more about the car and the community itself. I'm also looking forward to donate once I get my paycheck this coming week!
Here's the break down:
2012 black mica speed 3 I purchased it back in February and kept it stock til now.
Mods Coming Soon (in order of purchase and/or what I'm planning to buy)
1. Jbr rmm, AP & Autotech internals (will be installed this weekend)
2. Cobb Sri +tih or corksport Sri (still undecided but purchasing soon)
3. Learn more about tuning this car (will definitely search and read a lot)
4. Dp and possibly exhaust
5. Suspension from Coilovers to sway bars

As for goals for the car: I just want something that can be a good daily as well as a performance toy at the same time, if that even made sense.
Now that I have more time and paid off school loans I'm really looking forward to learning about tuning this car and making it my own.

Good first post. Thanks for not being a douche. I don't totally agree with the order of mods but I'm the same guy with stock mounts for 122k miles without breaking them.

Sounds like you have your shit together. Welcome and happy modding.

Definitely a sound plan, I would also look into a RMM, it will make a huge difference and is a relatively cheap mod. I replaced all my mounts and it was a night and day difference, the RMM and TMM make the most significant impact IMO

Welcome to the forum. It's the best one I've ever seen and you can learn everything about your car/modding here.

What the hell are you doing? Did you not get the 'how to: posting for the new gen pu owner' e-mail?

Your post was concise, you stated exactly what you wanted to do, you included the magic mods - hpfp internals and AP. You actually spent a little time and grasped the basics for modding this car through research. You even paid your school loan?!? (Congratulations, seriously!)

First post should include troll stuff like:

First mods are brake light tint, CBE and BOV. DP and intake ready to go on. Ask what you need to get to 400hp. Follow up by getting pissy and cop an attitude. Never search, post. Brown pride.

Have fun with mods, looks like you are on right path. Take your time. Drive.

Black Mica = No smiles.

Did you really need to clutter up the forum with double threads???

It's so rare of people to make an educated, methodical, well thought out first post.

There was no entertainment to speak of, but that doesn't take away from the fact that this is a great first post with no content that warrants flaming or butt raping.

Good job.

Rsb before exhaust or downpipe. Makes a big difference in handling, you'll already be making enough power...

Basically the same order I went in...AP->CS SRI/TIP + Internals + CPE Stage 2 dmm (thank you Nator PA/NJ)->Catless TP.

I'm happy as hell and hopefully getting a tune soon. It's my DD and I drive roughly 225-250 miles a week if I'm not carpooling.
