O-ring on MAF sensor My o-ring has a tear in it. I have tried all of the local places near me but none had what I needed. Does any one know where to buy one? I can't seem to get my local dealership to call me back and a lot of the online sites only list the whole sensor. Thanks for any help. |
Edgeautosports carries them. Pm them and they'll help you out. |
I feel like an idiot. I didn't even think about them carrying such a small part. |
I bought it a while back when I broke mine its a direct fitment. |
If you need one straight away measure it and try your local parts place or a well stocked Ace Hardware. The o-ring isn't in contact with any chemicals so just about any type of o-ring material should work. |

If I'm not mistaking, they're about 10$ from Edge. |
Thank you everyone for the help. On my way to the dealership (that wouldn't return my call) I stopped by a mom&pop hardware store. They had the perfect o-ring. Got the leak fixed only to discover my old ass Greddy Type S BPV leaks it's ass off. I have a Greddy RZ that I got from a friend parting out. Guess I'll give that one a try until I decide on a new one. |
I went to ace they had metric orings just ask to match it up |
That's what I ended up doing. |
Oh, and thanks for breaking mine too good buddy! ;) Kidding of course; it was already nearly broke when I handed it to you. Sorry we couldn't get those damn manifolds to fit. |
Haha I figured you would want the awesome ability to suck in more air thank your filter would allow. More powa! |
I'm just gonna go filterless. Because racecar. |
I did the same thing, I would have gone with edge. But bought an O-ring set at Harbor Freight Tolls, and there was a size that fit for me. |
