| Not Ranked : 0 score How long was install for you? And did you jack up the front or rear? When I did my catback I was able to drive up onto ramps (backwards) and was about 2 hours and 6 beers for install. Haha You must be a Honda owner too. It's ok, I have a DA integra, bug never got the "Honda attitude" because I never claimed mine was fast. In fact, I can't stand people on the Honda forums. | Not Ranked : 0 score no hangers = less vibration. think about it you have one less point of contact from the rattle machine engine to the body of the car. the factory on has hangers because it has catalytic converter on it. i doubt a foot of pipe needs support |

| Not Ranked : 0 score I don't think that's right. Think about it, the engine causes the exhaust pipes to move thoroughly. Rattling is caused by pipes hitting firewall/body. The hangers keep the pipes away from the firewall and body by reducing the movement. The hangers are not the cause of the rattling. CS sells polyurethane hangers to fix this issue, as the OEM ones are too soft. By having stronger hangers you stop the rattling. So to solve the issue you need less movement, which is what hangers do.

| Not Ranked : 0 score agree to disagree. alot of threads on here talk about people getting downpipes without hangers to limit vibration. that one hanger being eliminated isnt going to make your downpipe ram into the body of the car or else no one would sell downpipes without hangers because people would be returning them. lol exhaust hangers arent going to stop that engine from rocking, an upgraded rear motor mount barely does that! |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score lol install was fast and easy. had it on two ramps for the front and jacked up the rear left side. i was able to slide under and was done in an hour. once you get the stock testpipe off its easy.

| Not Ranked : 0 score It worked good for what it was, fitment was perfect. I have since upgraded to the obx dp/catback. I also have a rattle after the new exhaust yesterday, even with Nick welding in stiff hangers all over the place. However, mine is being caused by my resonator hitting the chassis brace below it I think. Nothing some silicone couplers and zipties cant fix if I sandwich them in there.
