one more toy/car. Hey guys, I've been thinking about in a couple of years after I pay off my car. I'd like to keep it but also would like to get a car that I always wanted, kinda like a weekend car, an extra toy. I always wanted a porsche cayman in white for many reasons. If you have a chance and be able to afford an extra car, realistically, what would you get? |

Heck ya 1 Attachment(s) I'll be getting this next year. |
1 Attachment(s) But my evil wife won't let me have one. Apparently she has something against driving 88mph everywhere. |
Solution: travel back in time and don't get married. |
1 Attachment(s) i love a good ol datsun. my dream toy would be a 240z with an RB26DETT and some sexy side pipes.... more realisticaly it would be a 280z with a 280zx L28et motor in it tho.... i could deal with that. |
1 Attachment(s) well, since some people mentioned old school, I always wanted one of those old land rover defender! Attachment 81217 |

I've actually started looking around for a used Cayman S myself... I probably won't be buying a third car until after my wife and I buy a house (we've been looking for a couple months and will likely buy in the next 6 or so), but the Cayman is on my short list for a 3rd "fun car" (along with the C5 Z06, C6 Vette, or maybe a late model NSX) once I have space for one. |
The new golf R or a 370z. In a couple weeks going to buy a jetta sportwagon turbo diesel for our 2200 mile trip everyother month after that will be looking for a 370z when I get bored with this car which is usually about a year. |
Probably a Caterham R500. 263 HP in a car that weighs 1100 pounds is nuts. Caterham Cars Maybe an Ariel Atom. Like the looks of the Atom better, but the Caterham has it in performance. |

It'd be a stretch for me to realistically afford a new CTS-V, but it is at the top of my want list. More realistically, a new Boss 302. What will actually happen (I hope) is I keep my Speed 6 and my 72 Chevy as toys, and I pick up a new, 2014 MZ6 here in half a year, or so. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2 |

Amen... Caterham... hell any lotus 7 kit. Atom cost too much. Google this: "bruntonauto" Or a datsun 240 or 510. |
I already have mine. |
135i, an e9x M3, a used GTR or maybe an Evo 9 current reality is looking like a turbo miata. |
1 Attachment(s) I have no idea why, but have always like the old AMC cars. |

The Mazdaspeed3 is hard to drive after a weekend out in the FD. |
rhd fd rx7. id kill to have one. but from what ive read rhd is super sketchy to own. for some reason i really still want to own a saab 9-5 aero and a 2g dsm eclipse gsx. id take an rx3 or datsun 240z too. too many to list. |
Buy a '94-'95 Miata, turbocharge it a bit to about 180whp, have fun. |
|
1 Attachment(s) ^^^Is that a lightning edition? Just picked up my "toy" car last month. It's so much fun. Haven't even been driving my speed that much lately. |
2 Attachment(s) Work in progress. |
Since I work at fiat I get a lot of Alfa Romeo info. I can tell you this, if the roadster they built and showed as being a possible first American Alfa I'm getting it. It was like a z3 but with about 260 horse and under 2000 lbs. Out preformed the m3 all over the place. Let me find a picture. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/12/11/18/u2emejyr.jpg Sent from my ADR6400L using Tapatalk 2 |
