Order for Power Modifications Hello All, Was a VIP lurker who just turned to new owner of a new 2012 with tech package a few days ago. I know that there are plenty of things to do with the car but I wanted to know what the standard "rank" of mod order should go and I'm hoping that this will be a good source for other newbies as well. For example, since as you mod, sooner or later you'll need internals and AP, do you just buy those first or are there times where you want instant gratification and go with SRI/TIP/BPV etc. I'm thinking this is the order I want to go 1. BPV 2. SRI/TIP 3. AP 4. Internals 5. Exhaust (turboback) |
Change it up 1. Internals 2. AP 3. SRI/TIP 4. Turboback 5. Colder Plugs 6. BPV 7. FMIC/TMIC 8. Tune |

Mods, please lock/delete this thread. |
strike the bpv all together unless you find out it is broken provides no benefit other than sound if i started all over again it would be 1. internals/AP same purchase 2. large maf intake 3. TMIC/FMIC and colder plugs 4. Downpipe tune as you go the rest of the exhaust is unnecessary and provide little/no power increase |

Build motor, buy AP. After that, it doesnt really matter. |

Sticker Mod! Duh! |
No no no, you guys have it all wrong. Newdz of wife/gf/sister/mom should be first mod. :arms: |

Internals AP GTX3071 with some E85 |
1) Turbo Timer (HKS or Greddy) 2) Manual Boost Controller (Greddy all the way) 3) Injen Cold Air Intake 4) Unichip 5) Autoexe TMIC 6) Turbo Back Exhaust doesnt matter what brand |
Stock BPV is solid and theres no benefit to swapping it out for something different. |
